Ok, so after checking in to the hostel and finding out who my roommates were (more on that later), we took some time to look around the hostel. The hostel had a diskothek in the basement which was cool, the hall area with a bar in the back, and it had this patio type deal that led outside and since the hostel was right next to the zoo, we could see the raccoon area and they were actually kinda super adorable :)
So, at dinner, we (my roommates and I) made a few friends (more on that later) and then our friends had friends and basically we ended up in a giant group of like 30 people. We headed out to try to find a good place to watch the semifinals game of Germany v. France. On our way out, we crossed the bridge and were able to take some fairly beautiful and picturesque pictures which is fantastic! Our group quickly got cut in half, then cut in half again, and then two of us just ended up breaking off and watching the game ourselves at a bar. So, yeah, I spent the evening with Andre watching the game and it was fun stuff. Andre is also a pretty cool guy. He is Romanian but goes to school in England and yeah.
Oh, so we also saw this cool like skateboard/rollerblading area set up underneath one of the bridges. I honestly thought that this was one of those things that you only really saw in movies lol.
