So, the real main reason that I came to Bonn was to see Narin! Btw, my title is not saying "Die" as in "Death" but "Die" as in the German feminine article for the. But, to the point. I participated in an exchange program two years with my high school and a high school in Germany. Except, I didn't host anyone cause I didn't think I could do the program, then someone dropped out so I took the open spot. As a result, Narin ended up hosting this random, graduated senior from Clements who she'd never met despite having spent 3 weeks there... I mentioned in my blog posts two years ago how our only similarity is our music taste - we both have an affinity for Rock and Linkin Park. Despite being totally different otherwise, we got along great and she's a good friend. I have yet to meet someone who is as good of a judge of character as Narin whose also so genuinely kind, caring, and overall good-hearted. I was so damn lucky to be hosted by her two years ago and again this past weekend! Couldn't have asked for a better time or a better host - still hoping she'll come to the US and I'll get to do the same for her :)
