This is the infamous Reeperbahn - the red light district of Hamburg. While prostitutes and brothels are plenty, there are also food stands, live music, karaoke, tons of bars, nightclubs, other restaurants (Texas lol), and just a fantastic atmosphere. Oh, not to mention the Beatles Plaza dedicated to them :)
